Introduction video
Yuge Island
Yugejima, one of the islands floating in the Seto Inland Sea, is a small island that can be cycled around in about an hour, but with its warm climate and the gentle pace of life unique to an island, it is a perfect island for healing.
Although it is located in a part of the Shinamami Kaido , it is an "outlying island" that is not directly connected to the mainland.
You'll find a unique richness here that only remote islands can offer. Please do try to discover it for yourself.
Since it is connected by bridges to the neighboring islands of Sajima, Ikinajima, and Iwagijima, you can travel to and from them by bicycle, motorcycle, or car.
The four islands are also known as the "Four Brothers of Kamijima" and are the main islands of Kamijima Town.
There's also the "Yumeshima Kaido," a cycling route that circles the four islands .
In addition to the bounty of the sea, we are also blessed with seasonal mountain produce, and being able to savor each of these is one of the pleasures of the region.

We look forward to welcoming you.
