Yuge Island
Yuge Island, one of the islands in the Seto Inland Sea, is a small island that can be cycled around in about an hour.
With its warm climate and the gentle flow of time that is unique to this island, it is the perfect island to be called "the island of healing."
Although it is located in a section of the Shinamami Kaido , it is a remote island that is not directly connected to the mainland.
Here you will find the richness that can only be found on a remote island.
The neighboring islands of Sashima, Ikinajima, and Iwakijima are also connected by bridges, making it easy to travel between them by bicycle, motorbike, or car.
The four islands are also known as the Kamijima Four Brothers and are the main islands of Kamijima Town.
There is also a cycling road called the Yumeshima Kaido that goes around the four islands .
In addition to seafood, the area is blessed with mountain produce throughout the year, and being able to sample each of these is a joy.
